Agave Grille And Cantina

A taste of the Southwest has come to Ambler to spice up the area's ever growing restaurant scene. Agave Grille & Cantina, 110 East Butler Pike offers Southwest-inspired dishes for lunch, dinner and late night dining. Under the auspicious direction of Executive Chef Stephen J. Corbett, who has led many of the kitchens in the areas most prestigious restaurants, the menu features a seasonal blend of Southwestern cuisine with a mix of traditional American fare. "We want to appeal to all palates," he explained. "The menu is Southwestern with a twist," he added. "From quesadillas made with goat cheese, mango and crab with a pistachio créme, to a 14oz cowboy steak topped with red chile onion rings, shrimp and cayenne mashed potatoes to pan roasted crab cakes with jicama, red slaw, potatoes and a San Antonio remoulade to a blackened ahi tuna served with frijoles negros and a sweet potato tamale with a hazelnut butter, there is something for everyone. The menu also features a wide selection for children, a unique dessert menu and a large selection of pizzas. The chef is also happy to accommodate any dietary needs and to modify dishes for those that like them less spicy or for those that prefer them hot, hot, hot! Sean Coyle and Dave Correia, who also made Manayunk's acclaimed Bourbon Blue a success, want Agave Grille & Cantina to be a welcoming place where diners can enjoy lunch one day and return for dinner and live music on the weekends. Agave Grille & Cantina has a monthly calendar of special events, everything from Girl's Nights Out events complete with mini- fashion shows, to tequila tastings, special sporting event celebrations, family friendly events and an array of live musical acts.
