The Marked Men

Hailing from the great state of Texas, the Marked Men play old-school punk rock with sweaty, energetic ferocity and a surprising knack for pop hooks. The Marked Men were formed by guitarist/vocalist/songwriters Mark Ryan and Jeff Burke after the breakup of their well-respected punk outfit, the Reds. Bringing aboard bassist Joe Ayoub and drummer Mike Throneberry, the Marked Men made their recording debut in 2003 with a self-titled three-song EP for the Austin, TX-based Mortville Records label, and a few months later followed that up with a full-length album for Rip-Off Records. ~ Mark Deming, All Music Guide
