Started in 2001, as a local seafood vendor selling fresh seafood from a "shack", the demand for the products grew so fast that they decided to open up a full service restaurant. The name Bottom of the Sea comes from where the restaurant started in a neighborhood of West Philadelphia called "the Bottom" since they were selling seafood, Bottom of the Sea was born. Today they are selling some of the best seafood you can find anywhere in the Philadelphia area, with large portions and unique menu items such as Turkey Steak and Dungeness Crabs with their house-made special sauce. Bottom of the Sea has something to fill any dining palette come and try us out tonight.
