A new Caribbean restaurant and nightclub with an eclectic mix of Caribbean staples at 5222 Walnut which occupies a bright and cheery rehab of the space that used to contain Hollywood Palace. (Hollywood Palace was once in the 1950s and 60s was a hot jazz speakeasy that hosted jazz greats such as Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonius Monk, Miles Davis, and John Coltrane just to name a few. In the 70s Hollywood Palace stage was haven to the R&B scene and the Philadelphia International artists like Teddy Pendergrass, Linda Creed, David Ruffin, The Whitehead, and the 1980s became the place where musicians came to jam all night and home to a legendary karaoke night.
